Mission Statement

Camp 40 Acres is a community resource provided by Wilmington Junior Camp Inc. a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization of volunteers whose objective is to foster, encourage and promote educational, athletic, social and patriotic activities among the youth of Wilmington and surrounding areas.

Description

Camp 40 acres is a rustic camp maintained to provide camping and outdoor learning opportunities for scout groups, schools, teams, church groups etc. Located adjacent to Wilmington Town Forest, the camp provide a range of upland hardwood and mixed forest, casual sport fields and facilities and a ropes course high adventure. The camp has a very rural feel, yet is located a few miles from Rt 93, 20 miles north of Boston.
