Mission Statement

Our mission statement is to create and provide a drug, weapon, crime and gang free community for the residents, families and children of this area.

Description

We have an active after-school tutoring program to assist the youth of the community and surrounding areas with their homework. High School students and their parents and other college individuals take time out of their schedules to assist these children. Their ages are 4-13 and all attend pre-k thru middle school. During the summer, Rainbow Junction Summer Program becomes a reality for the youth during the summer months they participate in community gardening, reading books, story telling and field trips to the DMA and other educational and Historical places in Dallas.

Being the founder of the program, I would surely recommend the two programs. Volunteers give of themselves and are very informative to the children some who may not be exposed to other personalities. This is a way of mentoring and giving back to community.
