Alternatives, Inc. is a private, non-profit agency founded in 1973 and is a nationally recognized, premier youth development organization. Alternatives' innovative, reseach-based youth development programs are dedicated to building caring communities that promote the healthy development of all young people. Alternatives, Inc. provides training, opportunities, and information and awareness that allow young people and adults to work effectively together to assist neighborhoods, schools, and communities to become stronger, safer, friendlier, and more livable.
