Description

Dallas Services currently has three programs: Dallas Day School, the Low Vision Clinic and Mesquite Day School. Dallas Day School is an inclusive early education program for children with and without special needs from six weeks to six years of age. The school provides quality care and exceptional learning opportunities in a culturally and economically diverse an early childhood development center.

Low Vision Clinic provides vision and low vision services to all individuals regardless of age, disability, gender, etc. Examinations are routinely conducted on infants, nonverbal individuals, individuals with various degrees of mental retardation, individuals with physical disabilities, etc.The Low Vision Clinic is the only nonprofit low vision center in the state of Texas, outside the University of Houston’s School of Optometry.

Mesquite Day School is a comprehensive program that encompasses both an Early Head Start and a preschool for children, with and without special needs, from low-income families. Early Head Start offers an intensive set of core services to children from birth to three years of age who must meet certain income requirements or be a foster child or homeless.
