Description

Hospice is a concept of care -- an alternative for terminally ill patients and their families. Quality of life is maximized when the quantity of life cannot be extended. The word "hospice" is not simply a label for a building where people go to die. In fact, hospice care can be provided in a patient's home, nursing home, hospital or in an independent hospice facility, such as the Hildebrant Unit.
