Mission Statement

The mission of the East Los Angeles Women's Center is to provide a varietyy of services for women, focusing on sexual and domestic violence ans HIV/AIDS. We offer crisis intervention, prevention, education, and advocacy in order to address the needs of our multicultural and multilingual community. With an emphasis on the Latino community, we work to empower and give hope to individuals, families, and the community at large.

Description

We provide group and/or individual counseling, a 24 hr. bilingual rape/crisis hotline, medical and legal accompaniments. We provide certified hotline training, outreach to the community, and many other services and programs.
