To provide economically disadvantaged and underrepresented students the educational and financial incentives necessary to enroll in the colleges and universities of their choice.

Description

The Washington Education Foundation manages several scholarship programs, one of which is the Washington State Achievers Scholarship. Funded by the Gates Foundation, the Achievers Scholarship Program is truly unique--rarely do you find a scholarship program that seeks to provide funds AND support. Many of our scholars will be the first in their families to attend college, and we want to make sure that they succeed in obtaining a degree.
