Mission Statement

The mission of the Clackamas County Medical Reserve Corps is to establish and maintain a pool of pre-identified, pre-credentialed licensed or certified health and medical professionals to provide surge capacity for health/medical response during large-scale public health crises, as well as to support local public health initiatives.

Description

Medical Reserve Corps units are volunteers can effectively respond to an emergency, are familiar with their community response plan, know what materials are available for their use, know who their partners in the response are, and know where their skills can be utilized to their best advantage in a coordinated manner.
