The mission of Lake County Cares is to encourage volunteerism by offering volunteer opportunities for Lake County employees/retirees in an effort to make a difference in communities throughout Lake County and in keeping with the Lake County Core Values.

Description

Goals Create greater community understanding and interaction. Increase employee/retiree volunteerism. Build employee morale. Keep retirees connected to Lake County. Objectives Promote employee/retiree volunteerism. Offer a wide array of volunteer opportunities to Lake County employees and retirees. Offer volunteer opportunities during work, after work and on weekends. Offer these opportunities with other employees, as team builders within departments and as self-directed experiences. Reward Lake County employees/retirees for their involvement in volunteer activities.
