Mission Statement

The Lubbock RSVP encourages people to stay active in their mature years by recruiting, supporting and providing volunteer opportunities for people 55 years of age and over. We offer services to non-profit agencies and organizations throughout Lubbock County, allowing the volunteers to utilize their talents, interests and abilities in fulfilling the needs of others and helping the community to be an even better place to live.

Description

RSVP has no dues or membership fees and provides personal accident and personal liability insurance to members to, from and while they are performing a volunteer job in the agency to which they are assigned. Newsletters, forums and social functions are also offered to members to encourage their socialization and participation in volunteerism and their community.

I had the pleasure to stay at the hope lodge and the quilt I received from your organization made my day.i was having a tough day .I saw the quilt and old family memories came to me.you guys made my day.i thank you for this beautiful blessing.
