Mission Statement

MISSION Neighborhood Housing Services of Albuquerque, Inc. is dedicated to reversing neighborhood decline, upgrading existing housing, providing information referrals, as well as giving financial, technical, counseling, and educational assistance to the residents in the Board designated target neighborhoods. NHS works in partnership with financial institutions and the City of Albuquerque to provide low interest and/or deferred loans for low income homeowners. NHS of Albuquerque is dedicated to working closely with Albuquerque neighborhoods to improve the quality of their homes and communities by promoting leadership from within. NHS strives to provide resources to help low- to moderate-income residents of Albuquerque develop the capacity to maintain and improve the quality of their homes and create opportunities for increased home ownership.
