Mission Statement

Rooted in the loving ministry of Jesus as healer, we commit ourselves to serving all persons with special attention to those who are poor and vulnerable. Our Catholic health ministry is dedicated to spiritually centered, holistic care, which sustains and improves the health of individuals and communities. We are advocates for a compassionate and just society through our actions and our words.

Based on the foundation of our membership in Ascension Health, a sponsored health ministry of the Daughters of Charity, and the Sisters of St. Joseph, Seton Health System is dedicated to excellence, innovation, accountability and the prevention of illness in response to the community's changing healthcare needs.

Our vision is to create a unified system of comprehensive healthcare services through collaboration with those who share our vision. Seton Health System coordinates the objectives and activities of its subsidiary organizations, in accordance with the historic commitment of the Daughters of Charity to care for the poor and sick in the spirit and tradition of their founders, St. Vincent DePaul, St. Louise deMarillac and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.

We are called to:
