Hate Free Zone exists to uphold the fundamental principles of democracy and justice. We support and mobilize targeted immigrant communities and allies to advocate for equality, dignity, and respect. Our work integrates four critical areas that , when combined, become the catalyst for systemic change: Political Advocacy Direct Support Community Mobilization Education

Created in direct response to the backlash that has occurred in varied communities of color as a result of the September 11th events, the Hate Free Zone Campaign of Washington works to address both the short-term needs of individuals and communities who have been targeted, as well as the longer-term issues that lead to all types of discrimination and hate crimes.
