Mission Statement

Our purpose is to provide a reason for kids to get out of bed each morning eager to examine, study, and learn in school! The goal is for students to develop critical thinking about the roots of violence, make good use of school by meeting rigorous academic standards, to build community, and begin to visualize themselves as people who might be able to work together to bring about justice in their personal lives and society.
