Here's a sample of our volunteer opportunities:VIEW AS
Prophet Reward Foundation (PRF) was fully legally registered Charity in the Republic of Kenya on 21st December, 2010 and awarded the certificate of incorporation under The Trustees (Perpetual Succession) Act Cap 164 along with a common seal by the Minister for Lands. To accomplish our mission we partnered with Hope Development Volunteers (HDV) on 2011 and designed our initiative PRF-BBCTV program. On 14th May, 2012 PRF became a consultant group designated Charity in Kenya for Sumokids Foundation (SF), a 501(C) 3 public charity in the United States of America (USA). The same year 2012 we partnered with Stop Hunger Now (USA) to be mobilizing the resources and the volunteers for food packaging events where we are looking for partners to fund for our sustainable food packaging to kick hunger out of Kenya and horn of Africa countries. On 2012 PRF was accredited by IEBC to become a Domestic Observer Group for the peaceful, free and fair elections to 2013 Kenya general elections where we recruited 113 local volunteers to participate in Nairobi County polling and tallying stations including Bomas main tallying. On 2013 we partnered with Books for Africa (USA) to empower the education to the marginalized and poor community. On 17 th January 2014 PRF Partnered with UN volunteers Kenya to mobilize and empower volunteerism in marginalized and poor community initiative groups. On June 2014 we partnered with Junub Sudan Sports Association to bring peace through interfaith prayers and sports. Since 2011 Prophet reward foundation has recruited and host over 150 local and 10 international volunteers including virtual/online volunteers. Over 20 initiative groups and over 3000 have benefited direct and indirectly through PRF-BBCTV program. We are looking for partners and volunteers to support to sponsor and participate to our events on 31 stJuly, 2014 Sudan peace prayers, 31 st August, 2014 Sudan peace Run day(10KM) in Nairobi, Kenya and to bring peasants together from eight countries Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, D.R.C Congo, Southern Sudan and Somali to commemorate their world peasants day on 7 th November, 2014 in Nairobi, Kenya.
PRF is a charitable organization and an umbrella to solicit funds for the initiative of NGOs, FBOs, CBOs, youth and women groups from the marginalized and poor communities who are unable to access for the fund/donation or network locally and internationally. We are the trust between the marginalized poor community and the donors. PRF is a unique charity formed by a peasant acting for the peasants from the marginalized and poor community. Our initiative program prophet reward foundation beyond the border community volunteer (PRF-BBCTV) we recruits and hosts for potential development volunteers for placement to their interest meaningful matching projects.
We physically identify in the fields our beneficiary organizations and their needs and register them for free as our projects from the marginalized and poor communities in urban slums and rural villages in Kenya and beyond our borders in East & Central African countries (great lakes) where we network. We have invested and still investing for the benefit of our local poor communities and the organizations that we have networked with. At the moment we are working with a number of youth and women groups some of which we have helped to move from no funding or shoe string budgets to self sustainability.
We direct donors to the community's initiative meaningful projects which we physically identify according to the donors matching interest without passing through middle persons (Cartels/brokers). We asks the interested donors to fund the projects we have identified and arrange for travel to visit how their funds are making the impact to the community development as a follow up through our volunteerism program. In this, we are avoiding the funding of briefcases projects which is being practiced for many years in community development in developing countries corruption.
Prophet reward foundation is planning to purchase 1000 acres through the partners support in Kajiado County to set up a complex Africa hyper volunteer center (PRF-AHVC) the home away from home for volunteers who have the passion to give back to the community. Most volunteer programs are based to benefits the beneficiaries in the institutions who design those programs. PRF-AHVC home will be training and recruiting the stand-by volunteers in different programs having the volunteers’ hubs for professionals in education, peace, children, youth, leadership, environment, health, talents nurture, artifacts, sports, games, food packaging, food bank, disaster relief, technology, retired professors, retired professionals, interns exchange etc all centralized in one center as a city in its own.
PRF-AHVC home will participate as the volunteer communication center to rescue and help the volunteers who travel to abroad to do meaningful things but the ends up in desperate and challenges of wrong recruiting programs and hosting people. The complex will become the home away from home for local and international potential developmental volunteers with passion to give back to the community in abroad Africa region. We will also construct the airstrip to make it easy for volunteers to far reach to the remote rural areas where vehicles are unable to reach.
Our charitable purpose is to revive all these initiatives and projects to achieve our vision in having the improved living standards of the talented persons in marginalized and poor community by the year 2025.
