Mission Statement

The work we are doing at Christ Health Center goes well beyond treating the sick.
We are committed to the physical, mental and spiritual health and well-being of each of our patients. More than simply seeing the sick made well, at Christ Health Center we strive to see the well made whole and to see each patient living life abundantly.


Our patients have access to the very best in primary care, dental services and professional counseling as well as medication therapy management through our on-site pharmacy. We accept all forms of insurance, including Medicare and Medicaid, and offer a generous sliding scale fee-for-service option to our self-pay patients.

Description

Christ Health Center is more than just a nonprofit. It is a place to invest your prayers, your time, your talent and your treasure. There are many ways to be involved, and we are sure that one of them will be right for you.

First, you can pray for the work that we are doing. Pray for our patients, pray for our health care providers, and pray for the communities where we work.

You can also invest your time and talent. We have countless volunteer opportunities for people from every background. Answering phones, filing insurance claims, escorting patients, or assisting with paperwork are just a few of the ways that you can change lives in our neighborhoods.

Lastly, we would welcome your financial support. Every patient is asked to contribute to the cost of his or her health care, but many times our patient generated fees do not cover the cost of the services we provide. Your donations are 100% tax deductible and invaluable in helping us offset the cost of caring for our neighbors.

I have volunteered here for the past couple of months, and I have loved to see how well the staff loves and cares for their patients. Volunteering for this health care center allows you to be a part of team that is impacting the Birmingham community with the love of Christ.
