FOCUS:Friends Of Courage*United Survivors(A project of Community Partners) is a program dedicated to helping survivors of domestic violence rebuild self esteem and confidence through the teachings of Chinese Martial Arts

Description

We work with Family Service Agencies to bring clients together with teachers at Kung Fu School where clients learn Tai Chi Chuan and Wing Chun Kung Fu We have been operating for four years. We had our first fundraiser recently, The Vagina Monologues and are working on producing regularly scheduled plays and comedy shows at local venues. We also provide workshops for the women and kids such as massages, comedy workshops
