Mission Statement
Turning Point Community Programs provides services to people with disabilities and their families, including mental health services, support, employment, housing and advocacy.
Description
Turning Point Community Programs is one of the largest providers of services to Sacramento and Stanislaus County's' mentally disabled populations. We strive to treat our clients with respect, listen to their preferences, answer their concerns and appreciate their individualism. Traditionally, people with persistent mental illnesses have been involuntarily hospitalized. We consider institutional placement the last conceivable recourse rather than the first response. As an alternative to more costly hospitalization in state mental health facilities, Turning Point saves tax dollars with its highly efficient operation.
