Mercy Hospital is a part of Ascension. Ascension provides care in 22 states and the District of Columbia. Highly skilled Ascension physicians, nurses and staff meet a wide range of healthcare needs - body, mind and spirit - for people of all ages and walks of life.

Mostly, it is alot of fun doing something good. The staff, patients and visitors to Mercy are very appreciative of all the volunteer efforts. The volunteer services staff works very hard to use the talents and interests of those who want to help. There are a wide variety of opportunities available which truly fit almost all skill sets and interests.

All departments I have volunteered in have been very appreciative of the volunteers. We're treated as one of the team.
