I would welcome the opportunity to volunteer as a mentor because I myself know first hand what it is like not to have someone for guidance. it is definitely tough when you need help and you can not get it,but with such an exceptional program as this one that gives these children an opportunity to have someone there to guide them and help them in areas were they may not be getting it at home or else where.I mysef am a full time student in the evening studying for my bachelors in human services and I would like to begin to give back to the community in anyway I can through my education and life experience. it starts with the children they are our future.
