UW Extension Family Living Programs continuously use research-based education and form partnerships with other organizations to effectively promote family strengths and build positive family life environments for many different communities.
Oshkosh Area United Way aims to improves lives by mobilizing the caring power of our community. We do this by bring diverse people together to build a stronger and more caring community for everyone.
Winnebago CountyUniversity of Wisconsin-Extension educators design educational programs which apply research, knowledge, and resources to meet the issues and needs of Winnebago County residents. This teaching is done through all media including radio, newspaper, meetings, visits, phone, and personal counseling and covers agriculture, family living, 4-H youth development, natural resources, and community development topics.
The Oshkosh Area United Way is a non-profit organization, dedicated to LIVING UNITED in our community. This year, the Oshkosh Area United Way invested more than $1,018,000 in our community. We focus our efforts on four impact areas including: Nurturing Children & Strengthening Families, Building Self-Sufficiency, Promoting Health & Wellness, and Caring for People in Crisis with a special emphasis on Helping Children Be Ready for School and Promoting Volunteerism & Community Service.
