Mission Statement

Ellie's Run for Africa is a 5K race and family fun day that raises money and inspires others to act for Africa. Sprung from the dream and prayers of one 10-year-old girl, Ellie's Run for Africa is a local opportunity to walk alongside African children as they seek an education - one child at a time. In essence, we challenge people to Dream Big and Take Action for Africa.

Description

ERFA is a 5K race and family fun day that was founded in 2004 thanks to the dream of one child - 10 year Ellie Ambrose on Nashville. ERFA primarily raises funds for schools in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya. We help provide funds for operating costs of a secondary school for 160 students at the New Dawn School and provide funding for a new Emmanuel Vocational School, which offers classes in computer, beauty, catering, electrical work, and fashion and design
