Financial Awareness
Educate in writing checks, balancing a checkbook and other information pertaining to finances.
Abstinence
Youth are educated in abstaining from drugs/alcohol/tobacco, sex and violence.
Activities of Daily Living
Instruction in basic sewing, proper hygiene and preparing economical meals
Mentoring/Tutoring
We offer one-on-one and group mentoring and math tutoring
Entrepreneur/Employment Training Complete employment applications, mock interviews and appropriate dress & speech techniques.
Nutritional Awareness
Educate in the importance ofeating healthy and exercising. We provide a meal, snack and drink. The facility is equipped with a exercise room basketball and footballs for the boys. We include outdoor activities.
Prevention:
Bullying, gangs, gun violence and STD's.
Community Service:
We offer community service hours for youth for school projects as well as hours that are mandated by judicial entities.
Completing the Program:
Each youth receives a certificate of completion
All mentors and volunteers:
are cleared through ChildlLine Abuse through the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare. In addition, the criminal background is verified.
