The mission of the National Latino Research Center (NLRC) at California State University San Marcos is to promote scientific and applied research, training, and the exchange of information that contribute to the knowledge and understanding of the rapidly growing U.S. Latino population.

NLRC works with youth, parents, government agencies, and community organizations to better understand issues in education, health, civic engagement, and disaster preparedness.
