The mission of Opera Carolina is to inspire and entertain the region's diverse community through the presentation of excellent Opera, Music Theater, Operetta and Education & outreach Programs that elevate the quality of life in the Carolinas.

Description

In 1948 a group of community volunteers came together to create the Charlotte Music Club to enhance the educational, entertainment and economic resources of this region. Opera Carolina is a company with a commitment to artistic excellence and community service. As the company opens this new century and millennium, it does so with a strong vision of its role in the life of the region.
