Reduce maternal mortality by 50% in India in 5 years.

Description

Every 7 minutes a woman in India dies due to complications during pregnancy and childbirth.

We have reduced both maternal and infant deaths by 90% in the first 250 villages, since the spring of 2008.

We educate 700+ villages as of December 2010.

It costs $100 to educate a village of 2000 people.
