Mission Statement

SOS Outreach inspires positive decision making in youth for successful life experiences.

Description

SOS Outreach is one of the biggest outdoor sports
related non-profits serving at-risk youth in North
America. As an organization SOS Outreach inspires
youth to make positive decisions for healthy and
successful lives. To do this we incorporate year-round
outdoor programs like, snowboarding, skiing,
mountaineering, and paddle sports, to a core value
youth development curriculum. Over the last two years
there has been a 70% increase to year-round programs,
allowing SOS Outreach to offer 18,553 program days
between 2009 and 2010. In 2010 SOS Outreach will
serve 5,180 at-risk youth in 11 states and New
Zealand.
