This organization is to promote and encourage research; to educate lay and professional people by promoting awareness; to provide emotional support for patients and their families; and to provide in general such other services as may be necessary to fulfill the aforementioned purpose and to work in unity with other organizations whose purposes are the same or similar to those above stated.
