Mission Statement
Twelve Stone Farm and Twelve Stone Ministries, Inc., provides a sanctuary where people can come into Nature, find "The God of Their Understanding" and, through this interaction, find healing from the inside out.
Experiential learning modalities to bring balance, healing, and peace to each participant.
At Twelve Stone Farm, we also rescue neglected and abused horses, and, after proper rehabilitation, use these horses to help at risk children and youth to examine their behavior, to healthy interaction with family and the community..
Description
Purpose
The purpose of the Farm and the Twelve Stone Ministries, Inc., is to be a sanctuary where people can come into Nature and find The God of Their Understanding, and, through this interaction, find healing and the "peace that passes all understanding".
About Twelve Stone Ministries, Inc.Twelve Stone Ministries, Inc., is a healing ministry dedicated to the healing of mankind from the inside out. Our collaboration with other ministries affords us access to work with many levels of our society. Our programs are varied but not limited to the following:
EquineHorse Rescue and Rehabilitation
Therapeutic Horseback Riding
Working privately and through the schools to mentor at-risk children, teens, and adults
Offering Spiritual Retreats for self-actualization and healing
Teaching homeschoolers earth friendly pioneer skills and primitive dwelling construction
It is a dream to have ongoing invitations for people to gather for the common good and to experience the joy that comes from light work, cooperation and adventure. The Tipi Village Volunteer Program functions like a working dude ranch; through the program, guests camp for a week, weekend or just for the dayto assist in projects that are part of farm life. I hope to eventually have seven 20 foot tipis available for the villagers to use. I always enjoy the help of highly effective folks willing to be of service. Bring your friends, because many hands make light work.
