Mission Statement

The Mission of the Altoona VA Medical Center is to enhance the health status of the Veterans we serve by: -Providing comprehensive primary care and preventive medicine. -Coordinating Specialty, Acute and Long Term Care Service. -Managing health care needs across the continuum of care. -Supporting the VA social mission and special emphasis of programs. The Altoona VA Medical Center will pursue the fullfillment of this mission through communication, collaboration, cooperation and teamwork!
