Mission Statement

The LeRoy Haynes Center for Children & Family Services mends the body, mind and spirit of the emotionally troubled or abused child by providing the specialized treatment and educational services the entire family needs to form and maintain healthy productive relationships.

Description

LeRoy Haynes Center was started by Mr. LeRoy Haynes a chaplain over 56 years ago. He believed that intervention and treatment ina home-like setting were crucial if these young me were to become productive adults. He started LeRoy Boys' Home by purchasing the old Reynolds estate in La Verne, Californiam and opened the doors to ten residents. Today, the home is capable of housing 72 residents. The center now serves both boys and girls of all ages. The non-public school was opened on-campus in 1989 and a day treatment program. In l998 a community mental health outreach program was created to meet the needs of the children in our Foster Homes.
