Mission Statement

The mission of WSANA is to enrich peoples lives by providing accurate up to date information on disability issues to persons in the Western Cook County area of Illinois.. However other areas are also served. The website has been visited by over 195,000 persons as of November 2009.

Description

We are a 501 (c) (3) organization , our website which is available to the general public at www.wsana.org and our e-mail alerts.Every effort is made to provide accurate information on disability related issues in our newsletter and on our website. In addition to keeping the visitors to the website aware of information WSANA also serves to educate residents about the human and legal rights of people with disabilities. In doing so, the WSANA supports the work of other health and human services organizations in Western Cook County, Illinois. WSANA also seeks to keep all individuals with disabilities aware of information that will benefit them via our website.
