Mission Statement
The North Texas Fair Housing Center's mission is to actively support and promote fair housing through education and advocacy to ensure that all persons have the opportunity to secure the housing they desire and can afford, without discrimination based on their race, color, religion, gender, national orIgin, familial status, disability or other characteristics protected by law.
Description
The North Texas Fair Housing Center (NTFHC) is a not for profit Fair Housing Initiative Program (FHIP). Our mission is to eliminate housing discrimination in the North Texas region, based on the following protected classes, under the Fair Housing Act: race, color, religion, national origin, sex, familial status, and disability. We provide the following services: (1) investigation of housing discrimination, (2) housing rights counseling, and (3) outreach and education. Our service area consists of the following counties: Dallas, Tarrant, Delta, Wise, Parker, Kaufman, Hunt, Ellis, Johnson, Denton, Collin, and Rockwall.
