Mission Statement

Our Mission:

To train and support community volunteers who advocate for abused or neglected children placed in foster care, upholding the children’s rights while pursuing a safe and permanent home.

Description

CASA recruits and trains members of the community to become child advocates for foster children who are dependents of the court in San Benito County. The program goals and objectives are to report findings and observations to the court. Facilitate any and all services in the best interest of the child as ordered by the court. Advocate in the best interest of a child involved in the judicial proceedings and monitor each case until the court has determined the role of CASA has been fulfilled.
