ACT for Mental Health, Inc., is a small non-profit community service organization in downtown San Jose needing volunteers who are willing to provide "hands on" assistance with and for people who are in trouble emotionally, situationally and environmentally. Whether you decide to work in our office contributing your computer skills, your office management expertise, or with clients sharing your special talents, your passions and your interests, your contribution is valued and needed

Contacted organization and someone had told me she would reconnect with me the next week. After 10 days passed, I tried contacting but never received a response. I was very eager to help out too. :(

Contacted organization and offered my time and services. They initially requested my resume, but after reviewing it, they told me that due to my location, I could not be considered. This is listed as a virtual opportunity and not a local one. It was very disappointing. Their ad/writeup should indicate more clearly what they're looking for as I spent time updating my resume for them and communicating with them.
