Mission Statement

To provide resources to all Kincaid Elementary students so that they may receive a diverse, state-of-the- art education that fosters accelerated achievement through enhancements in curriculum, technology, and facilities. The Foundation will accomplish this through collaborations with the school administration, PTA, our families, and the community.

Description

The Kincaid Elementary Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose purpose is to raise funds to benefit Kincaid Elementary School. The Foundation was fully incorporated in June 2010.

The Kincaid Foundation was formed to serve the interests of all students at Kincaid by providing funding for programs and initiatives that go above and beyond what is offered by state, county and PTA. The timing has never been more critical as Cobb County Board of Education approved a budget with a $126.7 million spending reduction for the 2011 fiscal year. These cuts will have an immediate impact on our children’s education. The Foundation will work to help fill the gaps left by such devastating cuts.
