In service to the public, the mission of the NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale is to actively engage diverse audiences in the appreciation of works of art through innovative exhibitions, education programs, publications, and collection activities. International in scope, while reflecting the creative expression of our region, the Museum explores the broadest spectrum of visual culture at the highest level of quality.

As a semi-retired Interior Designer, I now find time for volunteer efforts. My background includes a BA in Fine Art Education from Western Illinois University and an Associate Degree from the FT. Lauderdale Art Institute. My career has included the purchase and display of art for clientele, some store display and all other aspects of Interior Design, primarily in the residential sector. My primary residence for the past 30 years has been Ft. Lauderdale and I am pleased that we have the NSU Art Museum in our community.
