Reading for the Stars is one of MCESA's signature initiatives designed to ensure all students graduate college and/or career ready.

Description

The "Reading for the Stars" initiative, presented by the Maricopa County Education Service Agency, is based on the belief that "all children are capable of success, no exceptions." The multi-faceted initiative, which is engaging students in five high needs elementary schools over a three-year period, strives to empower youngsters with the competence and confidence to succeed. Students focus on goal-setting and achievement in reading as means to reach their dreams for today and tomorrow.
