Peninsula Family YMCA

Description

The Peninsula Family YMCA located at the Moonridge Housing Development provides youth and family services to the coastside. The YMCA's outreach to the community includes hosting summer and winter enrichment programs, matching at-risk youth with adult mentors through the Building Futures Program, providing an after-school homework program for youth, and securing donations and services for residences of the Moonridge Housing Development. In addition, the Peninsula Family YMCA at Moonridge hosts the new Intel Computer Clubhouse which is a safe afterschool technology environment for youth to create projects based on their own interests.
