Legal Outreach

Description

For the past 27 years, Legal Outreach has prepared urban youth from underserved communities in New York City to compete at high academic levels by using intensive legal and educational programs as tools for fostering vision, developing skills, enhancing confidence, and facilitating the pursuit of higher education. The four-year College Bound program incorporates classes in writing skills and life skills, combined with tutoring, legal education, debates and mock trials, and attorney mentorships to inspire participants. One hundred percent of College Bound students graduate high school on time, and 99 percent have matriculated at four-year colleges.
