Description

Mental Health America of Greater Houston (MHA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting mental health for all and to improving the care and treatment of persons living with mental illness through education and advocacy. Our areas of major focus include advocacy for legislative solutions that address the vast unmet need for public mental health services; removing barriers to mental health care by facilitating change in systems; linking people to appropriate mental health services in the community; and providing education and training for key sectors of the community in order to help them meet the mental health needs of their constituents. More information about MHA can be found at our website at www.mhahouston.org.
