Description

The Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach has been enriching the lives of young people for 58 years and remains in the forefront of youth development for our community. Our program philosophy is built around participation and positive reinforcement, which lead to a higher level of self-esteem. Tested and proven, our nationally recognized and innovative site specific programs address today's most pressing child and youth issues, providing for the underserved and teaching young people the skills they need to succeed in life. Our core programs are based on: Character & Leadership, to help youth become responsible caring citizens and develop leadership skills; Academic Success, to help children succeed in school and their future; Health & LifeSkills to promote healthy, active lifestyles and increase self-esteem; and Creative Imagination to enhance self-expression, self-value, and creativity.
