Mission Statement

Project Matthew believes that by providing faith based childbirth and parenting education and support, there will be positive impact in the lives of incarcerated and other high-risk mothers and their children, and reduce the incidence of child abuse and neglect in this population.

Description

Project Matthew is a faith based childbirth/parenting education and support program currently underway at County and State Jails and homeless shelters in Dallas, Texas. This organization has been in place for 4 years to incarcarated women, many of whom are pregnant. Statistics show that we are having an impact and seeing a difference in the lives of these mothers and their babies.
