Alonzo King's Lines Ballet was founded in 1982 for the creation and presentation of original, contemporary ballet by Alonzo King in partnership with other outstanding artists.

Description

LINES is an organization of extraordinary artists from around the world who believe in the transforming capacity of art and its power to affect human life. The San Francisco Dance Center was founded in 1989 as a home for LINES and as a dance facility that fosters the training of artists and the creation of new work.
