The Dallas Lighthouse for the Blind enhances the lives and opportunities for the visually impaired in North Texas by providing jobs, job training, and other services that empower and encourage its clients toward living independently.

Description

Since 1931, the Dallas Lighthouse for the Blind has provided jobs and services to the blind /visually impaired in North Texas. The Lighthouse, a 501(c) 3 agency, trains its clients for skilled service jobs in any office environment. It also staffs a manufacturing and sewing facility with blind/visually impaired employees who produce products for both commercial customers and government agencies, including the U.S. military.
