Since 1974, George Street Playhouse has been a welcoming and supportive home for first-class artists of the American Theare. The Playhouse leadership and staff are committed to providing the nurturning atmosphere in which: great arts flourishes, new work is developed, and a personal connection is made between artist and audience. We are proud to serve our commmunity by offering first-class productions that are entertaining, thought-provoking and soul-satisfying-choosing to produce theare that builds bridges between people, inspires laughter and speaks to the heart.
