Mission Statement

The Mission of the Washington County Sheriff's Office is to act as Conservators of the Peace. The mission of the Civilian Volunteer Corps is to strengthen the relationship between the Sheriff's Office and the peopel of Washington County while expanding and enhancing the effectiveness of Sheriff's Office programs and services to the community.

Description

The Washington County Sheriff's Office is a law enforcement, corrections, and emergency management agency dedicated to Conserving the Peace. To that end, we engage private citizens who serve as volunteers; and partner with local colleges and universities in preparing men and women to work in the fields of law enforcement and counseling.
