Serving youth and their families in the Southern Maryland counties of Calvert, Charles and St. Mary's.
How old do I have to be to volunteer as a mentor? For our community based mentoring program you must be 18 or older.For many of our site based programs we accept high school students and adult volunteers.
Do I need special training to volunteer as a Big? No special training is required. All you need is the willingness to spend time with a child who will benefit having your friendship and your positive influence. Big Brother Big Sister professionals provide you support and training as needed.
How much time is required? 2 Days/3-6 hours a month.
