The March of Dimes puts on two major events a year. Our premier event is March for Babies, which is a fundraising event to raise money help have healthy babies. Walks around Charlottesville are hosted in Orange County, Culpeper, Fauquier, and Charlottesville. This event needs companies, individuals, and organizations to help raise money through fundraising and sponsorship. The day of the event is a 5 mile walk that draws participants from all over to come out and walk for healthy babies. Our second event is the Charlottesville Signature Chefs Auction. This is a Gala that features restaurants from around the area of Charlottesville, a silent and live auction, much more. The March of Dimes in Virginia give $.83 on every dollar raised back to the local community.
