Mission Statement
American Corporate Partners (ACP) is a national nonprofit organization focused on helping returning Veterans and Active-Duty Spouses find their next careers through one-on-one mentoring, networking and online career advice. More than 1 million Veterans are expected to transition from the armed forces to civilian life over the next five years. ACP engages the American people in a unique volunteer opportunity to provide career guidance to returning military as they transition back into civilian life. We believe that the biggest issue facing our returning service members is not unemployment - it’s underemployment. ACP focuses on helping Veterans and Active-Duty Spouses find meaningful employment opportunities and develop long-term careers.
Description
ACP is a national nonprofit organization that assists returning Veterans and Military Spouses in finding their next careers through one-on-one mentoring, networking, and online career advice. Since 2010, more than 35,000 Veterans and Military Spouses have completed their ACP mentorship and told us their mentors made a material difference in their transition experience. Questions can be related to employment, career development, small business, and professional development.

I love this organization helping Veterans and Spouses find sustainable work after the military through mentoring and coaching. I am currently a mentor and I am loving my mentee and helping her to visualize and achieve her dreams! Organizations like this really help to assimilate people back into civilian life after the military. It is also a true passion having been a military spouse myself. I didn't know that programs like this existed! I'm so blessed and honored to be a part of it now.
